Join us at Over the Hill Orchards and Winery for a day of fun, food, and festivities! The Ladybug Picnic Festival is a celebration of summer and community, all for a great cause—the Mother Baby Unit at the Regina General Hospital, a heartfelt tribute to Sally Elliott.

Ladybug Picnic 

Indulge in a delightful experience – picture a cheese platter and wine amidst the scenic Qu’Appelle valley views. Your Picnic In the Orchard experience includes your choice from 5 unique spots, ladybugs, in-house wine and a charcuterie board. Every booking supports the Mother Baby Unit in Honor of Sally Elliott. Book now for a great cause!

What’s included? We provide everything you need for a picnic experience, picnic blanket, eating utensils, a bottle of wine of your choice (and non alcoholic beverages), a charcuterie snack board (2-3 people), a jar of ladybugs to release either on site or at home, ladybug activities for kids, and a group photo at your picnic location to commemorate the experience (digitally sent to you). We recommend arriving a few minutes before your time slot begins so we can get you set up and you have time to select your wine. 

Cost: $70 per timeslot, no maximum attendees - Proceeds go towards the mother baby unit in honour of Sally Elliott 

Paint & Wine Sampler with Arthouse by Brianne Urzada 

Join us for a delightful and creative experience at the upcoming Ladybug Picnic Festival as Arthouse by Brianne Urzada and Over the Hill Orchards and Winery come together have created the perfect pairing for you to partake in the Ladybug Picnic Festival. 

Enjoy an intimate and fun painting session at 11am in our gazebo with Brianne from Regina's local art business, Arthouse. She'll guide you through a painting step-by-step for approximately 2-2.5 hours. Absolutely no painting experience is required - You're there to have fun, get in touch with your creative side and support a great cause.  

Savor six of our delectable wines with information on wine tasting notes, harvest information and food pairings by an in-house wine expert.  Snacks are provided for you to enjoy while painting and sipping away! 

Additional glasses of wine are available for purchase, non-alcoholic options are available.

Sip & Shop 

Send your afternoon with us at the Ladybug Picnic festival's Sip & Shop pairing in-house wines and a local marketplace. 

We will be enhancing our tasting room for the festival and you will find a vibrant marketplace of local vendors as well as the opportunity to do a mini sampling from our wine selections. When you're ready to bask in the sunshine and soak in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley, join us on the patio to sip on in-house wines and enjoy a range of desserts (gluten free options available!).

Patio seating is on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations available during festival hours. Festival menu and non-alcoholic beverages are available for order.
