Cayley, originally from Southern Alberta, has had the opportunity to cook across Canada, including at esteemed fine dining establishments in Toronto and Vancouver. He gained further recognition at the prestigious Longview Steakhouse in Alberta, renowned as one of the world's top fifteen steakhouses. After meeting his partner from Regina, Cayley relocated to Saskatchewan in 2021, where he now contributes his culinary talents to Avenue Restaurant in Regina.

Cayley's cooking style reflects his thoughtfulness, curiosity, and deep respect for ingredients and the farmers who produce them. He blends classic flavors with modern techniques, aiming to create dishes that are both thought-provoking and delicious.

About Supper in the Orchard

The event begins on the outdoor patio (weather permitting) overlooking the beautiful valley, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Attendees are seated indoors beside large picture windows where the owners, Dean and Sylvia Kreutzer, briefly discuss the history of the orchard and introduce the chef(s) for the evening. Between courses a 30-minute tour of the orchard is offered (weather permitting). Supper begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m.
