Supper in the Orchard: Chef Shane Folk

Join us at Over the Hill Orchards and Winery for Supper in the Orchard featuring Shane Folk. The owner of Hillside Smoke 'n Que transitioned from his career behind the wheel of a semi-truck, which allowed him to sample diverse cuisines across North America, to pursue his passion for food in Southern Saskatchewan. Drawing inspiration from his upbringing and community, he specializes in southern-style barbecue comfort food.

At Hillside Smoke 'n Que, they offer house-made sauces and versatile dry rubs, along with handcrafted pastrami and authentic jerk chicken, developed through their unique recipes and techniques.

About Supper in the Orchard

The event begins on the outdoor patio (weather permitting) overlooking the beautiful valley, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Attendees are seated indoors beside large picture windows where the owners, Dean and Sylvia Kreutzer, briefly discuss the history of the orchard and introduce the chef(s) for the evening. Between courses a 30-minute tour of the orchard is offered (weather permitting). Supper begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m.
