What happens at the Supper In the Orchard event?
Doors open at 5:30, and we start you off on our outdoor patio, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, while enjoying the beautiful view of the valley. About 10 minutes before supper commences at 6:30, we escort you to your designated seats inside the winery. Sylvia briefly discusses the history of the orchard and introduces the chef(s) for the evening. Once the chefs introduce the menu, we begin to serve the 1st course. In between courses, Dean takes you on a 30-45 minute tour of the orchard, weather permitting, to show the different types of fruits we cultivate and unique ways we grow them.
How long is the Supper In the Orchard event?
Typically the evening ends around 8:30-9:00pm.
Are dietary restrictions taken into account for the meal?
Absolutely! We understand that many individuals have specific dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies, and others. Our chefs are more than capable of accommodating these restrictions, but we kindly request that you provide us with a few days' notice to ensure adequate preparation. When making a reservation, please be sure to inform us of any dietary restrictions.
Is the Menu for the evening available before reserving?
It is difficult for the chefs to know exactly what will be on the menu until the date gets closer. They use a lot of local ingredients, and the supply of these ingredients are not always consistent.
What are the costs?
The cost of attending our Supper is $75 per person. A 5oz glass of wine is $8, while non-alcoholic beverages such as Cherry Spritzer and Coffee are $3.50. Wine pairing with the meal is available for an additional cost of $25.
When will the schedule be released so I can see which chefs are coming on which dates?
We typically have a preliminary schedule in late March/early April, and will be posted on our Events page.
What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?
Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can have time to try to resell the tickets.
How many seats are available for each Supper?
We have 48 seats, and group sizes can be anywhere from 1 person to 48.
